Jim Winters on performs on the hurdy gurdy; hear the incomplete song at: 3pm on June 24th at Fort Knox in Maine. To even consider a musical work as “non finito” such incompleteness would typically be seen only a stone sculpture. Musical composer Jim Winters offers one hour at the beginning of FLOW with a single musical chord on the hurdy-gurdy, as it plays and waits. The active and planned vs. the inactive and unanticipated, this is music that cannot be finished until FLOW begins, not possible as the gurdy reacts to sounds softly made by you, the visitor. Playing non finito, please join in with Jim’s gurdy for one hour starting at 3pm as gurdy calls out to you, the visitor, to add a soft noises, chanting, meditate, breath, flow, and joining in. Once done, a recording will be made by the artist and made freely available to anyone who has contributed a your own sound. June 24th, 740 Ft. Knox Road , Prospect, Maine
